Oh Ear!!!

Tonight, I did something unexpected and I mean....really out of the blue. I never thought that I could do such a thing, and so were my parents. But well, I did. Actually, I didn't want to add it in the blog, it's embarassing, but daddy said I should so that this will remind me of what happened someday after I've long forgotten about it.

It happened around 10 p.m. I couldn't remember why, but I stuck a small piece of cotton into my right ear. I wanted to clean it, I supposed.

"Oh...oh...!!! I can't get it out."

I have no choice but to tell my daddy and mummy. A round of bombardment was expected, but luckily this time, the impact was reduced by half. How come? Because my right ear had a piece of cotton stuck in it lor. ..

My daddy brought me to a nearby clinic. Fortunately, this clinic opens daily (yes daily, even on public holidays) till 11.30 p.m. Though it's near, the journey wasn't smooth. At least when we were looking for a parking lot...eh...I think I'll skip the details.

After the registration.

"You can go in now, second room," said the lady at the counter. There were no other patients, only me, but there were other things too. I mean the stuff toys lah. There are quite a number of stuff toys at one corner of the clinic, I think that should be a children's corner. But I had no mood to play with them. So we went straight to the doctor's room.

After the doctor examined my ear, he took out a pair of very long "scissors". "Oh my God! Is he going to cut my ear open to retrieve the cotton?" I was terrified, but I didn't let it show. I just sat there quietly, waiting for the doctor to cut my ear open with the longest pair of scissors that I've ever seen in my life, and remove the cotton. But hey...before I could even notice it, the cotton was out of my ear, and I didn't feel any pain at all! "Phew...what a big relief", at least I get to keep my ear. By the way, does anyone know what do they call that long and thin pair of "scissors" that the doctor used to remove the cotton from my ear with?

You know what, for that less than five minutes stay in the doctor's room, it cost $40!!! My daddy told me that I could do four pieces of craft work at Thomson Plaza, or buy four tins of Nutren Junior with that $40. Well, what to do? If you gotta pay, you gotta pay. Every child at some point in time will do something like that, I am not the first and I won't be the last. But this will be the last time for me lah...

Enough already? Laugh enough already? Stop laughing.

Christmas Day 2005

"We wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!"

Today is Christmas day. This is the fifth Christmas that I am celebrating. Unlike the last four, this year we had some friends visiting us and they brought gifts for me too...hee...hee...

I have this gift which I like it very much. It's a low sturdy stool with bear prints. When I first laid eyes on it, the print reminds me of a story. You know which is it? Right, Goldilocks and the three bears. But in this picture, there are four bears instead.

But of course, I like the other gifts as well, they are all from people who love and care enough about me to buy me gifts. Thank you very much for all your gifts. Thanks.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and joyous year 2006!

Academic Year 2005

Year 2005 is a wonderful year. I am K1 this year! I love all the activities and outings organised by my school. Thank you teachers. Thank you for your love and guidance.

Semester 1 and 2

Between January to June I learned about the culture of the various countries in Africa. For our outings, we visited quite a number of places of interest like the Changi airport, Pizza Hut (the one with the empty plate is me; I can't eat because I'm a vegetarian), Zoo and Sembawang beach.

Semester 3 and 4

Between July to December we visited the Singapore Science Centre, a coffee factory, we even went on a Singapore River cruise. Yesterday, we went to Orchard road to view the beautiful Christmas decorations and lightings.

Learning is filled with so much fun and laughters. I really enjoyed myself and I am looking forward to a whole new learning experience in 2006. I will be going to the other campus in Yishun to study K2 where I will be learning in a setting that is close to our primary schools. This is necessary as the learning ambient in a primary school is very different from a Montessori school, this bridging phase will help me adapt so that I can cope well when I go to primary one in 2007.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

A happy day

Guess where am I?

Kitchen...I am helping my mummy prepare dinner. Tonight, we'll be having Bee Hoon soup for dinner...yummy...yummy. I am a great cook you know! I love helping mummy in the kitchen, just two weeks ago, I assisted her in preparing a steamboat dinner for about 20 people. You know what, she said I'm a great helper!!!

Is the tiara I am wearing nice? I pleaded so long with mummy before she finally say "yes". This is my precious. I look very nice, don't I?

Do you know what am I eating? It is made from glutinous rice and is stuffed with peanut fillings. Traditionally, it comes in two colours, white and pink. You got it yet?

Ans: Glutinous ball

Why? You ask me why am I eating it? It's 冬至 (Dong Zhi) or Winter Solstice today. But the glutinous ball that you see me eating is not home made, it was bought from NTUC...hee...hee... It's very nice.

A little about me...

I am studying K1 @ Greentree Montessori Children House (GMCH). I have been there since I was seven months old, it is like my second home. I like to go to school because I can learn lots of things like drawing, making puzzles, baking cakes, cutting apples and baking bread. The teachers teach us to sing and dance. I love singing and dancing. You know what, I'll be attending ballet class in coming January! Yeah....!!! Mummy had already signed me up for the ballet class and bought my ballet costume.

I also love to swim. Every Saturday, I will go for my swimming class at Delta Swimming Complex. As my class starts at 10a.m., I always have problem getting up in the morning but I am seldom late for classes.

This is my BLOG

Hi there,

By now, you should know who my favourite is...

No? Yes? (Hint: my blog title)

Yes...Princess Jasmine... (you know, the one in Aladdin)

But of course, I love my daddy, mummy and my baby sister more...

I am five years old. This blog was created with the help of my daddy, I am too young, below 13 so cannot do it myself (those people who drafted the rules said so). But nevermind, I asked my daddy to help, he is above 13.

It's very late already, I better get some sleep or else can't wake up early tomorrow and I'll not get my favourite drink again.

What is it? Milk lah...

Good 9
